Hi Amelia B
Since it says simplify to solve I assume you want a numerical value for your expression after it is simplified, please let me know if this is correct? I ask because while we can simplify the terms in equations and expressions, solving is usually for equations.
(-101√66)/33 = -24.86448
To Simplify your problem you will want to rewrite your terms and rationalize the denominators then proceed from there.
First rewrite your terms
3(√6/√11) - 2(√11/√6) - √594
Moving from lett to right for each fraction multiply the numerator and denominator by the given denominator then determine the square root of 594 do this term by term
So
3(√6/√11 )*(√11/√11) = 3(√66/11)
-2(√11/√6)*(√6/√6) = -2(√66/6 the 2 in the numerator cancels out -√66/3
-√594 = -3√66
Now put these back into the expression
3(√66/11) - (√66/3) - 3√66
To combine the terms you need a common denominator it is 11*3 or 33
(3*3(√66) - 11√66 - 33*3√66)/33
Multiply through
(9√66 - 11√66 - 99√66)/33
Combine terms
-101√66/33
-24.86448
I hope this helps please let if you wanted something else
