For f(7), look under the x column for 7 then choose the value to the right under the f(x) column.
For f(x) = 8, look under the f(x) column for 8 and choose the value to the left under the x column.
For the inverse functions, swap the column headers so that f(x) is the left column and x is the right column.
For f-1(5), find 5 in the right column and use the value to the left of that value.
For f-1(x) = 4, find 4 in the left column and choose the value right of that value.
