Um, I'm not sure why the answer isn't otherwise obvious, to be blunt.
A stretches vertically by a factor of A.
B ("with" x) moves us horizontally in the opposite direction of the sign.
C ("not with" x) moves us vertically.
So, if B being -3 moves us right 3 and C being 6 moves us up 6, what do yoooooou thing A is if we're vertically stretching by a factor of 9?
Hint: 5 would vertically stretch by a factor of 5, which is why it's not the answer.
