Hello Xavier,
Is the second equation 6= -1/3x-4 or just 1/3 as the slope?
If 6= -1/3 x-4 then it is a perpendicular line to y=3x-6 because their slopes are opposite reciprocals(change sign and flipped) as in -1/3 and 3= 3/1 are opposite signs and flipped. 6= -1/3x-4 is a perpendicular line with point (30,6)
If 6=1/3x -4 and y=3x-6 there is No relationship.
Parallel lines have same slope. While, perpendicular lines have opposite reciprocal slopes (change and flip the sign)

Is the second equation missing a y? If not then the equations are not related.01/31/23
