Professional Experienced Phonics/Reading Tutor
This is a good question for parents seeking handwriting tutors. It is possible for students to learn handwriting online. We are living in a time when tutoring sessions are more practical for the student and tutor from the comfort of their own home. First of all, the pencil used on the platform is easy to learn and use for even very young students who only need proper demonstration. The demonstration can be learned before the student’s first scheduled tutoring session on the platform or could be shown during the start of their first tutoring session.
If the student prefers, he or she may use actual physical paper and pencil to write with. Either way, the tutor can demonstrate each letter formation to be learned on the whiteboard. And the student can share what he/she writes by showing his/her paper to the camera. The letters will be taught just as they would be in physical contact, with straight lines first and gradually working on curved and circular letters. Practice always makes perfect, so plenty of practice with enjoyable interactive lessons may proceed.
I have noticed in working with some of my young students, that they confuse their b’s and d’s, whether in writing or reading. I show them simple memory tricks or hand games to differentiate between the two. If your child is struggling with handwriting, please feel free to message me and I will be pleased to work with them online.
