What is the vertex of the graph of the function f(x) = x2 + 6x + 9?

Sorry, but it's (-3,0) (see graph) -b/2a = -6/2 = -3 for x coordinate of vertex.

I agree with Peter R above. Also of note is that the function is given in Standard/General form of ax^2 + bx + c where a = 1, b= 6 and c = 9 and h, the x coordinate can be calculated directly like Peter R has shown above.
