2x+2(4x-3)=404

10x=404

L= 4W-3

4W-3 +W =202

5W= 205

W = 41 yards Wide

L =202-41 = 161 yards Long

L=4(41)-3 =164-3 = 161

dimensions are 41 by 161 yards

Your last line is off a little. Perfect until then.

It should Not be 10x -6 =404

then 10x =404+6 =410

then x =410/10 = 41 yards wide

you forgot to multiply the 2 by -3 = -6, then add 6 to 404
