Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
(4,2) and (1,5) have a line through them with slope
= (5-2)/(1-4) = -3/3 = -1
it's a downward sloping line with equation, at an angle of 45 degrees with the x axis
y-2 = -(x-4)
or
y = -x +6 in slope intercept form, y intercept = (0,6)
x intercept = (6,0)
plot those 2 intercepts, connect them with a straight line
extend the line forever in both directions. That's the graph of the line
through the two points
in standard form the equation is x+y=6
