Find the horizontal asymptote as x->8 and then describe what this means in practical terms. F (x)=150x+120/05x+120/0.05x+1; the number of bass, f(x),
Find the horizontal asymptote as x->8 and then describe what this means in practical terms. F (x)=150x+120/05x+120/0.05x+1; the number of bass, f(x), after x months in a lake that was stocked with 120 bass.
which of the answers is right i had b or d fx after y months in lake was 130. fx after x months was stocked with 120. or fx after x months in lake was stocked with 140 bass. or the last one-fx after x months in lake was stocked with 150.

There must something wrong with the way you wrote the equation for f(x). None of those answers match the equation.
BTW, it's not possible to have a horizontal asymptote as x->8. But you could have a vertical asymptote. For example the function f(x) = 1/(x-8) has a vertical asymptote as x->8.

I don't understand what the 120/0.05 means. That's a big number 120/0.05 = 2400. I can understand the equation f(x) = 150x + 120 as x->infinity. When x=0, the start, there 120 bass When x=1, after one month, there are 150 + 120 = 270 bass When x=2, after two months, there are 150x2 + 120 = 420 bass. and so on. I suggest that when you get a problem like this, it's helpful to calculate f(x) for the first three or fours values (x = 0, 1, 2, 3...), and see what the numbers look like. This will help you answer the questions. Best Regards, Tom11/08/22
