Math and science made easy - learn from a retired engineer
(g o h)(-2) means g(h(-2)). That means you figure out what h(-2) is, then plug that result into g(t)
h(t) = t2 +1
h(-2) = (-2)2 + 1 = 4 + 1 = 5
So plug 5 into g(t):
g(t) = 4t + 2
g(5) = 4(5) + 2 = 20 + 2 = 22
