2.5G + 3.5R = 52.50

G+ R = 17

2.5G +2.5R = 2.5(17) = 42.5

subtract last equation from 1st to eliminate one variable

R = 52.5-42.5 = 10 Rides

G= 17-10= 7 Games

2.5(7)+3.5(10) = 17.5+35= 52.5
