x+4(5/7)-8=6
now add 8 to both sides to get
x+4(5/7)=14
Re-write as x+ (20/7) = 14 but 14 = (98/7) so:
x+(20/7) = (98/7)
Hence: x = 98/7 - 20/7 = 78/7
