For perpendicular lines, the slopes are the negative inverse of each other. So the ⊥ line has a slope of -5. If it goes thru the pt. (3,4) then y = mx + b becomes 4 = -5(3) + b and b is therefore 19. Equation of the ⊥ line is y = -5x + 19.
