Think of a time you may have struggled or challenged yourself that had an impact ,positive or negative, on how you define who you are. Perception meaning how you see or view yourself. Once you complete that think about what you did to overcome the struggle or the challenge and how it changed or helped how you view yourself.
I would suggest you write this down when doing the exercise.
