(x + 4)4 = 273 Take the 4th root of both sides: x + 4 = ±4√273
x + 4 = ±4.0648 -> x = -4 ±4.0648
x = -4 + 4.0648 = 0.0648, rnds to 0.06
x = -4 - 4.0648 = -8.0648, rnds to -8.06
Check: (0.0648 + 4)4 = 4.06484 ≈ 273
(-8.0648 + 4)4 = (-4.0648)4 ≈ 273
