Using the function f(x) = x^2, match each function g(x) with the transformation from f(x).

Match each one; the way it's ordered is random so you have to match one sentence to another.

  1. g(x) is f(x) shifted two units to the right
  2. g(x) = (x+2)^2
  3. g(x) = (x-2)^2
  4. g(x) is f(x) shifted two units to the left
  5. g(x) is f(x) shifted down two units
  6. g(x) = x^2+2
  7. g(x) is f(x) shifted up two units
  8. g(x) = x^2-2

Remember the order is randomized.
