Is that supposed to be the line "f(x)" = 10x -2"? Something else?

But Charlsey H. sayeth naught. f(x) = x^10-2; f(x) = 10^(-2x); f(x) = 10-2^x, and they just get weirder from there! But while we're on the subject, what's the polynomial function for the maximum number of regions into which a plane may be divided by n lines in the plane?
