I think the problem is asking for the result of composite functions at x = -4.
(u o w)(x) = 5(-3x)+4 = -15x+4
(u o w)(-4) = -15(-4)) +4 = 60+4 = 64
(w o u)(x) = -3(5x+4)=-15x-12
(w o u)(-4) = -15(-4)-12 = 60-12 = 48
