It is important to develop excellent skills in advocating for yourself if you struggle with ADHD, learning disabilities, or really anything that makes you different. It is important for your self confidence success that you feel and are heard!
It is also important to try to be as sure as possible about exactly why you feel you aren't being listened to. Is someone blatantly ignoring you? Busy doing something else? didn't hear you? etc.
It is important to be heard, if someone isn't listening to you, especially if it is a teacher, boss, or person in authority and it concerns a matter related to ADHD, speak up for yourself respectfully and be very clear about what you are asking for. If that doesn't work seek out help from your doctor, HR department, guidance counselor, etc.
