I have this same question on a math review. The answer choices on my sheet are:
A) f(x) = 3(2x
B) f(x) = 2(4)x–3
C) f(x) = 2(3x)
D) f(x) = 2(4x)+ 3 <---- Correct Answer
The answer is D because k (in this case is 3) is positive so the function moves up three units on the graph.
