The general form of an equation for a straight line is y = mx + b, where b is the y-intercept and m is the slope.
Given slope = 0, this is a straight line with a y-intercept of 3. y = 3
b must be equal to 3, since the value of y is independent of x. That's what "slope" is telling us. It says that regardless of what value of x is used, y will not be impacted, since mx = (0) y = 0 + b; y = b: Y is always equal to b, regardless of x. So we can use (-3,3) and know that the y value of 3 will be valid for all x, including the y-intercept.
