How are absolute value graphs created?

Just know that the horizontal axes range remains the same, while that of the vertical will be automatically changed to a positive answer. That's just the point

The vertical axis range will not necessarily be positive if the equation contains a value outside of the absolute value expression. For example, if the equation is y = |x|-1, the minimum y value is -1.
