What is the term for a glissando without sliding the notes?

It is just a really fast run on a woodwind instrument. For instance, I am trying to play a run of 9 notes in a single beat for an audition piece, but I have no idea what it is called to seek help.

This has already been pointed out, but there isn't really a technical term for this. You could just call it a 'run', or, as the jazz cats say, a 'lick'. I personally prefer the latter, but you can use whatever word you like. Hopefully you found this useful.

I actually think you've already termed this when you said "a really fast run!" There isn't a technical term for this instance in music other than a "run," unless its classified as a chromatic scale (going up or down by half-step pitch values continuously). If it's just a series of notes that don't align with a certain scale (chromatic, modal, harmonic, minor, or major) then you can safely call that passage a "run!"
