Find the first three terms of an arithmetic progression in which t4 = 9 and t10 = 0

t1=?,t2=?,t3=?.........

Kim A.

Use the formula tn = t1 + (n-1) d Make two equations, subtract them from each other, and then you would find d. For the first three terms, you have to do the opposite function of what you would do if you were to be finding the next three terms after t4 which are t5, t6, t7. Answer: d = -1.5, t1 = 13.5, t2 = 12, t3 = 10.5. Hope this helps:)
