This is a linear equation, g(x) = ax -2. Then if g(k/2) = a(k/2)-2 = 3k-2 --> ak/2 = 3k
Solving for a, a = 6
g(x) = 6x-2
g(k) = 6k-2
g(4k) = 6(4k)-2 = 24k-2

I still do not see how you arrived at 6x. This is my only question. From that point i can easily solve, but have no clue how you arrived at 6x??06/12/21
