g(x)=x^2-6/x^2-2 as x approaches negative infinity?
Again, I'm interpreting the formula, which doesn't get copied well on this site, as (x2 - 6)/(x2 - 2).
As x approaches negative infinity, the -6 and -2 have no affect, so the x2's cancel leaving = 1.
