So, just like f(3) = 3⁴ + 6, etc...

f(g(h(x))) = (√2 - 4)⁴ + 6 = (√2 - 4)(√2 - 4)(√2 - 4)(√2 - 4) = (2 - 8√2 +16)(2 - 8√2 + 16) = 4 - 16√2 + 32 + 16√2 - 128 + 128√2 + 32 - 128√2 + 256 = 196
