for this polynomial the question is roots. The root of it all.
seems to be unfactorable, but a zero somewhere between 0 and 1 and also between -1 and -2
the vertex would be half way between those x values.
While a 4th degree polynomial may potentially have 4 real roots, this seems to have 2 with 2 imaginary
It's closer to a U shaped curve, with just one turning point instead of 3
