At noon, what is the length of the shadow cast by a flagpole known to be 20 feet tall? Label the answer correctly.

Hello, Theresa, Is there any information provided that would tell us where is sun is located relative to the pole at noon? The wood "noon" suggests a sun directly overhead, in which case there would be no shadow. But that wouldn't be the case if the pole were located in northern Alaska in the Winter. It would be low on the horizon, if at all, and the shadow would be quite long. -Bob
