in 2044, world population will be 2 billion more than in 2014

which is also 3 more than 1/2 the 2014 population

P=2044 world Pop

p = 2014 world pop

then P= 2+p

and P = 3 + p/2 = 2+p

p/2 = 1

p= 2 billion in 2014

P = 4 billion in 2044
