Direct and Indirect Variation

Question

I have gained some understanding in this area and was looking for someone to check my work and answers on how these equations vary?

#1)

y+5=x

x= 1 2 3 x varies directly with y

y= -4 -3 -2 y varies directly with x

#2)

yx=7

x= 1 2 3 x varies inversley with y

y= 7 3.5 2.33 y varies inversely with x

#3)

y=4x-3

x= 1 2 3 x varies directly with y

y= 1 5 9 y varies directly with y

#4)

y=12x x varies directly with y

y varies directly with x

I don't see a problem.

As for #4 x=1, y=12

2 24 etc.
