Find the coordinates of the other endpoint of the segment given midpoint and one endpoint (Hint Let (x, y) be the unknown endpoint. Apply the midpoint formula and solve the two equations for x and y) midpoint (7, 6) endpoint (9,11)

(9+x)/2 = 7 and (11+y)/2 = 6

9 + x = 14 and 11+y = 12

x = 5 and y = 1

(5,1) and (9,11) have midpoint (7,6)

the other endpoint is (5,1)
