Write the equation for the final transformed graph of F(x)=l x l after the graph is shifted 4 units left, and then two units downward.

To shift the graph 4 units to the left, you add 4 to the x variable.  To shift the graph down 2 units, you subtract the function by 2.  Doing this, you end up with

 

F(x) = |x + 4| - 2
