What is the DOMAIN of the INVERSE function? { (3,4), (-2,1), (-6,-7), (-3,-2), (0,-1) }
What is inverse function:
Let's suppose f and g are inverse functions. That means that if f(x) = y, then by definition, g(y) = x. Therefore, the graph of f will have point (x, y) and the graph of g will have the point (y, x).
To find the inverse function Domain rewrite the ordered pair as
(4,3), (1,-2), (-7,-6), (-2,-3), (-1,0)
Domain((x values): {4, 1, -7, -2, -1}...... you can rewrite this in least to greatest
{-7, -2, -1, 1, 4}
A is the answer.
