Could someone please help?

One number is seven more than the other. Their sum is 33. Find the numbers. (Enter your answers as a comma-separated list.)

You made a very good start laying out this problem, but 33 - 7 = 26, not 16, so the answers are incorrect. 8 + 15 = 23, not 33, so that should have clued you in that you made a mistake somewhere.
