For what amounts of monthly phone use will Plan A cost no more than Plan B?

Use m for the number of minutes of phone use, and solve your inequality for m.

For A: Cost = C = 35+.06M

For B: C = 44.60 + 0.3M

set them equal and solve for M

44.60-35= (.06-.03)M

9.6 =.03M

M = 9.6/.03 = 960/3 = 320 minutes will make the costs of A and B equal

Plan A will be less or no more than B, for more than 320 minute per month.
