Astrology has never been a science whereas Astronomy, is the oldest of the sciences. The future is unknowable and anyone who purports to predict the future, with the exception of the next 5 minutes, is lying.

The solar system is huge with even the closest background stars thousands of times more distant. There is no way the position(s) of the planets against the backdrop of these stars could affect or perturb the motions of the planets or events on the earth.

The ancients embraced Astrology because they were unaware of the size and scale of the universe. Innately, they were aware that they were a part of the universe and that it was bigger and grander than they or anything here on earth and for this, they get a pass. Today, there is no excuse for anyone to believe any of this anymore and anyone who does is either unwittingly ignorant, doesn't know better or is lying.
