if f(x)= -x^2-1 and g(x)=x+5 then what is g( f(x) )
By definition g(f(x) is the output of g when f(x) is the input variable.
If g(x) = x + 5, then g (f(x)) = (-x2 -1) + 5 = -x2 + 4.
