A party rental company has chairs and tables for rent. The hotel cost to rent 2 chairs and 5 tables is $45.00. the total cost to rent 8 chairs and 3 tables is $44.00. what is the cost to rent each table and each chair?

8C + 3T = 44

8C + 20T = 180

8C + 3T = 44

17T = 136

T=$8 for tables

2C = 45 - 5(8)= 45-40=5

C = $2.50 for chairs
