Since 2 cars + 1 bus = $47
and 4(bus) = 28 + 8(cars) * divide by 4*
1 bus = 7 + 2(cars)
Plug in new equation for 1 bus in original:
2 cars + 1 bus = $47
2(cars) + (7 + 2(cars)) = $47
4(cars) + 7 = $47 *subtract 7
4(cars) = $40 *divide by 4
The cost of one car is $10
