I will assume that the correct syntax is
f(x) = - 1/(x-3) +2
In that case the horizonal asymptote is y = 2
The domain is all real numbers except x = 3 or (-∞ , 3) U (3,∞)
The range is all reals numbers except y =2 or (-∞, 2) U (2, ∞)
The root is at x = 5/2
