Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
a0 =-1 any number to the zero power = 1, 1-2 = -1
a1 = 0 2 to the power of 1 = 2, 2-2 = 0
a2 = 2 2 squared = 4, 4-2 = 2
a3 = 6 2 cubed = 8, 8-2 = 6
a4 = 14 2 to the 4th power = 16, 16-2 = 14
a5 = 2^5-2 = 32-2= 30
there's 5 or 6 terms
as it's written, but by chance maybe you meant
an = 2^(n-2) ??
if so
a0 = 2^-2 = 1/4
a1= 2^-1 = 1/2
a2 = 2^0 = 1
a3 = 2^1 = 2
a4 = 2^2 = 4
a5 = 2^3 = 8
