We need an inequality such that:

182 + 47x <= 2700

where 182 lbs is weight of person, 47 lbs is weight of each of x number of boxes, with elevator weight limit of 2,700 lbs. (You may prefer "less than" weight limit to my "less than or equal to" weight limit.)

solve for x gives 47x <= 2700 - 182 = 2518

=> x <= 2518/47 or 53.57 boxes

can't have fractions of a box, so choose next smaller integer, or 53 boxes

to check, 53 x 47 + 182 = 2,673 lbs, less than limit.
