x^2 -8x +35 =0

(x-4)^2 +35= 16

( x-4)^2 = -19

x-4= +/- sqroot (-19)

x= 4 + sqroot (-19). X= 4-sqroot (-19)

For this question, you cannot factor. So the only thing left to do is the most annoying formula, quadratic formula.

a=1

b=-8

c=35

I am sure that you know the quadratic formula so well that this question was just to test my skills as a tutor.
