Let x = number of bags of potato chips

Let y = the number of bags of corn chips

x+y≥100

2.50x+2.90y≤$350

Let's try x=80 and y=20 (We know that is =100 so it will work for the first equation

2.50(80)+2.90(20) = 258 which is ≤$350

Buy 80 bags of potato chips and 20 bags of corn chips is one possibility

2.50x + 2.9y = 350

2.50x + 2.9(100-x) = 350

2.5x + 290 - 2.9x = 350

-0.4x = 350 - 290

-0.4x = 60

4x = -600
