Let x= a number
at least : >=
You want to find a number subtracted from 4 that will be at least 8
| x-4 | >= 8
Next break it up into two inequalities.
x-4 >= 8 OR x-4 <= -8 |8| and | -8 | =8
Now solve for x
x-4 >= 8 x - 4 <= -8
