Hi, Jake,
I love the company's name. Since we have two unknows, we need at least two equations.
Assign Letter to each of the things we do or do not know and make them into equations.
Pick what you want, but I'll use F for the number of fleece neck warmers and Y for the wool.
F + Y = 24
The prices are
Pw = $9.25 and Pf = $10.65
Total Sales can be written as Pf*F + Pw*Y = $237.40
Take F = 24 - Y from rearranging the first equation and enter the "24 - F" in place of Y in the above equation. That will eliminate Y as a variable. Now you can solve for X after plugging in the values of Pf and Pw. Find Y after calculating X. Then check to see if X and Y times their respective prices adds up to the total sales given. [Hint - I get 11 and 13 for the two unknowns. Figure out which one is which. It's fun]
