#1 Slope (m):-Use two points A (1,2) B(3,10) and the Formula for Slope

(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁) =

(10-2)/(3-1) =

8/2 = 4

Slope = 4

#2 Y-intercept (B) :

Use one Point A (1,2) and substitute into the equation y=mx+b to find b:

2 = 4 (1) + b

2 = 4 + b

2 - 4 = b

-2 = b

Y-intercept (b) = -2
