Hello, Nyshae,
There are x children per vehicle.
If x = number of children per vehicle and V = 1 vehicle, we have a relationship that we can use as a conversion factor.
The ratio x/V would allow us calculate how many vehicles we need.
If x = 124 children, we would divide by x/V. = 124 children/(x children/vehicle). The children cancel out and vehicle moves to the top. As an example, if each vehicle holds 12 children:
124 children/(12 children/vehicle) = 10.333 vehicles. We would need to round this up to 11 vehicles, since we con't expect a 0.3333 vehicle to show up.
