Writing equations of linear functions

Writing equations of linear functions, please help! 

The chart below is asking what the slope, y intercept, and equations are. 

In the first chart it has x on the left and underneath are the numbers: 0,3,6,9,and 12

And on the right is y with the numbers 120,90,60,30, and 0

How would I identify the slope, y intercept, and equation for this problem?

When x = 0, y = 120. So, the y-intercept is 120.

To find the slope, pick any two points on the line. For instance, (9, 30) and (12, 0).

Then, the slope is (0-30) / (12-9) = -10.

Equation of the line is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

So, an equation of the line is y = -10x + 120

you find the slope using the slope formula

y2 - y1 divided by

x2 - x1

(3,90) and (0,120)

120 - 90 divided by 0 - 3 you get

30/-3 = -10 so the equation is

y = -10x + 120
